Nathan Gosink

Branch Manager

Nathan is Branch Manager of the Central Valley office of Rex Moore based in Fresno, California, a position he has held since January 2016. He is responsible for all branch operations and growing Rex Moore's significant electrical contracting business in the large Central Valley region, serving clients in the San Joaquin Valley to the California coast extending from Paso Robles to Santa Barbara.

Nobody sweats the details like Nathan. A natural leader and communicator, Nathan is an experienced, hands-on manager who is both project and customer-driven. His overriding goal on each project is to allow the client’s vision to materialize through excellent management of preconstruction on through each critical project phase.

Nathan joined the Rex Moore team in 1999, and developed a firm grounding in virtually all aspects of the electrical trades. His journey through the ranks involved serving in various positions as an Electrician, Service Technician, Senior Emergency Service Technician, Project Engineer, Project Manager, Business Development Manager, and Senior Design-Build Estimator. Performing these roles has imparted Nathan with a deep understanding of construction teaming, budgeting, procurement, design, scheduling and installation.

He has accumulated construction experience across a variety of project types, including solar interconnections and utility scale solar plants; acute hospital and psychiatric facilities; data centers for high profile clients like Oracle, Adventist Health and Wells Fargo; aggregate plant construction; distribution warehouses; critical occupied facility construction; vacation resorts and hotels; and high-rise office buildings. During one long-term critical care hospital project, Nathan was elevated to the leader of the MEPF engineering group and was responsible for triaging the multitude of design coordination needs, value add and value engineering opportunities. He also sponsored the highest value solutions to the owner’s board for resource allocation, a process that required true collaborative behavior and leadership to meet the owner’s, architect’s and OSHPD’s strict requirements and conditions of satisfaction.

Nathan is pursuing completion of his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Fresno. He also is a State Certified Electrician, and holds CPR and DBIA certifications.

His favorite activities include hiking, snowboarding, volunteering, and pursuing his education. He also enjoys teaching and mentoring the next generation of leaders in all of these pursuits.
